In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His final messenger Muhammad (ﷺ).
The Islamic Dawah Centre of Australia (IDCA) is a non-profit organisation. It commenced its humble work in Auburn in 1998 where a group of dedicated and sincere brothers gathered to reach out to the youth and the wider Islamic community.
Throughout the years, IDCA expanded to other premises in the greater Auburn area mainly in response to an ever-increasing demand for dawah programs. The year of 2010 however, was a major turning point for IDCA’s dawah work through the Chisholm Rd project named, Build the Masjid. By the Grace of Allah, IDCA purchased a 3,882sqm block of land in the heart of the Auburn area after a successful fundraising campaign and support from the community. Shortly after completing it's purchase in 2011, a temporary prayer building was erected.
IDCA is currently in the process of raising funds and finalising plans for the building of a permanent structure. The masjid will be a community and da'wah hub, aiming to serve the needs of the local community.
IDCA offers various educational and community services to the Muslim community in Western Sydney. Their continued success is indebted much to the ongoing support of regular volunteers who are considered pivotal to their programs.
